Hey all, its been almost a year since my last post.  I've recently moved with my family to Delaware and unfortunately had to sit out a semester of class (yeah like I needed that).  The good thing about it is that it gives me tons of time to finish up on my art assignments and work on art as a whole without being bogged down by my Computer Science classes.  

I've started to work on a character I made up named Samantha.  What I want to do is to create a series of character design charts of her.  I'm looking through some manga scripts as well as the "How to Draw Manga" series to create poses and facial expressions.  So if you see something that looks like it's been taken right out of a book, more than likely it has.  What I want to accomplish is to develop a sense of personality as well as to give my characters an anime-esc feel to is (since I personally think that they give the best overall one panel expressions).  

Idunno, my art doesn't really fit into the manga category, but it also doesn't fit in the american comic category either.  I guess it's kind of a mixed category, a japanrican or an americanime if you will.  Anyways I hope you all like my sketches!

I know I know, I should be drawing my brains out and submitting new artwork.  I've been soo busy this past few months because of......school.  Yeah Calc2 is kicking my butt.  But the class that's really getting to me is Biology.  How can this class be soo hard?!?!  I study all the time for it and still receive mediocre grades.  Oh well.  Yes I know, I started the 7 day art thingy and haven't finished it.  Hopefully by Thanksgiving you all will see something new from me.  I'm constatnly fooling around and doodling during class to stay in artistic "shape".  I'll draw something spectacular during the winter months, so don't lose faith in me.  Later...

Giving that no one is going to see this (who knows maybe someone will).  I've decided to change it up a bit.  Even thought I'm constantly in search of new things I think its time to work primarily on the basics.  Stuff like hair, hands, feet, perspectives, and proportion.  Yep it's a hard job but someone has to do it.  So wish me luck for my quest for greatness.

Just a heads up, I haven't given up on drawing.  I actually have about 4 drawings in the works, just having a hard time determining what to do with them.  Check out my scraps section to see what's up.  Anyways I'll have something up by the end of this week.  Promise!!!
